Chavenage House

After the dissolution of the monasteries by Henry VIII, the manor and estate were granted to Thomas Seymour, who shortly after Henry VIII's death married his widow Catherine Parr. Now owned by the Lowsley-Williams family, who have been at Chavenage since 1845.

The earliest recorded owner of Chavenage was Princess Goda, the sister of Edward the Confessor.


After the dissolution of the monasteries by Henry VIII, the manor and estate were granted to Thomas Seymour, who shortly after Henry VIII's death married his widow Catherine Parr.  Now owned by the Lowsley-Williams family, who have been at Chavenage since 1845.
